傑克是法國詩壇，甚至是世界詩壇的巨人，他的詩被學童唸，並成了日常語，就連法國歌后也唱過他的詩。有人說他是法國版的白居易，但在法國人心目中他的地位是更高。他寫的《話語》（Paroles），行雲流水，就像咖啡館裡的說書人一樣，向你道出一幀幀人間眾生相。

Prevert's "Histoire" are stories in the manners of La Fontaine.
For the French, story-tellers mean Homer, Beroul (author of the French Tristan & Isolde),... & the modern ones.
I'm not sure whether they consider La Fontaine & Prevert 'conteurs'.
Thanks for your comments. I made bold comments on Prevert's works. That's an interesting question which I would like to discuss with the participants at the gathering.
