「六四」事件的發生距今已屆四分之一世紀,這個影響20世紀的重大歷史事件,涉過新世紀以來的十多年,仍然餘響未、懸而未決。在香港,它已經化為一種的「集體記憶」,一年一度“六四”當日在維園球場舉行的燭光紀念晚會儀式,很多香港人和新一代的年青人也會出席,但他們除了喊「平反六四」口號以外,對事件真正了解有多深呢?
 
過去的四分之一世紀,關於「六四」的各種書籍或文字,可謂汗牛充棟。 事件發生四分之一世紀以來的漢語世界,詩的缺席,詩人的缺席,詩性正義的缺席,令人引以為憾。

尋找和發現,詰問和糾正,彌補和追認,也許適逢其時。


隨著「六四」天安門事件二十五週年紀念日以及《六四詩選》的出版,我們希望趁此機會辦一次以「六四 •教育詩篇  二十五首」為主題的詩歌活動,讓年青一代透過六四和詩歌認識歷史,了解中國,歡迎你們帶一首自己寫的與六四有關的詩作,我們想聽聽你的看法和見解。


*有二十本《教育詩篇  二十五首》詩集(中英雙語)送給出席的朋友,先到先得。

我們誠意邀請你參與是次由藝發局資助的Kubrick Poetry「如果我有時間」的相片與詩歌展覧,現在我們招募詩歌投稿。

提交規則

我們邀請參加者提交以照片為藍本去創作的一首詩(每一張照片限一首詩,最多四首)。沒有字數限制,你可以以任何語言書寫。主題和照片只是一個出發點,你的創作不應受它們限制。你可以根據自己的理解去詮釋。

Calling for poem submission - If I Have Time


We sincerely invite you to participate in Kubrick Poetry’s photography x poetry exhibit “If I Have Time” commissioned by the ADC.  We are calling for poetry submission for this exhibit.

Purpose: To examine the relationship between words and images; the creator and the created
Theme: If I Have Time
Opening reception: Friday July 18
Venue: Coming Society book shop in Wanchai
Exhibit duration: July 17-31
Curators: Polly Ho and Atom Cheung @ Kubrick Poetry Society


Submission Guideline

We invite each participant to submit a poem for any one image (to a maximum of four poems – no more than one per image). There is no word limit.  You may write in any language. The theme and the image present only a starting point. They are NOT to limit your creativity.  Interpret however you like.


In your word document please include:
-your name
-your email contact
-the image you have written for (specify A, B, C, or D)


Prize
Book coupon will be awarded and you are invited to attend the opening reception.

詩人 PoetVaughan Rapatahana

Poet Vaughan Rapatahana has lived for many years in a variety of countries and now lives and works in Hong Kong. Vaughan has been published as a poet throughout Aotearoa (New Zealand), Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, The Philippines, Thailand, U.K., France, India, U.S.A., Macau, PR China and several other countries Rapatahana writes across a variety of genre and has also had novel, short story, language critique, original philosophy etcetera published.

He was Poetry Editor for MAI Review Journal, a leading online academic journal specializing in the work of indigenous writers until the end of 2011 and is a member of the New Zealand Poetry Society. Vaughan has a PhD in Existential Literature and Philosophy from the University of Auckland. His ancestry is Maori and he is affiliated to the Te Atiawa iwi (tribe). His wife is from the Philippines and they are a multilingual household.

Already in 2014, Rapatahana has been chief editor of the new Poetry Outloud Hong Kong anthology OutLoud Too published in April; has recently completed a new novel entitled Novel, which now rests with publishers; organized a follow up to English Language as Hydra to be called Confronting the Hydra, which will be published by Multilingal Matters, U.K. in April, 2015; co-edited a further poetry teaching resource soon to be published in Aotearoa-New Zealand by Essential Resources, Christchurch (Expand your mind with Poetry) and has a new collection of poems – Atonement – to be published by ASM/Flying Islands Press (Macau) later in the year. His obituary for the English writer Colin Wilson appears in the current Philosophy Now and he is also the featured poet in this months edition of a fine line.


He will read from his earlier poetry collections - Home Away Elsewhere; china as kafka, Schisms and this upcoming new book Atonement.
